Summer recap
It has been quite a while since I last wrote something in here. Actually this was way back in the beginning of August. Why I didn’t write so much during that time – mainly due to couple of reasons, first being my total summer laziness and second the ammounts of workload I had this summer.
In a few words it was a nice summer, though that I could have spent more time on vacations. I went to Trigrad for a long weekend with the friends, spent some amazing time in Yagodina, the caves around Trigrad and Yagodina and of course – the Beglika lake. It was beautiful! I’ve got tons of photos from that trip, so if you are eager to marvel at the beauty of the Rhodpi mountains, head for my parazz.com account (or go back to this post for some videos from the trip).
In the end of August I also went to the little country of Slovenia. I was on a AmCham Central and Southeast Europe Training Session, which lasted for a whole week. It took place in the lovely resort of Portoroz. It was a nice trip because apart from admiring the different natural and cultural landmarks of Slovenia (to name just a few – the Lipica hourse stable, the Postojnska cave, the Portoroz salt mines, the village of Piran), I also had a glimpse of the Czech Republic, since my flight from Sofia to Ljubljana was via Prague.
Anyway, July and August were chilled out months, which apart from these two trips were quite not interesting since I was in Sofia, working.
In September the key event was my last exams at the university. I managed to take successfully my last two exams and I’m almost through the university time. It’s just the thesis that’s ahead of me and that separates me from graduation, which will take place somewhen next year (eventually) ;)
Doing a recap like this for summer – short, concise and pretty much deprived from lots of the emotions that were present during trips around the country and abroad, I’m thinking of what’s ahead of me this autumn. I hate to do „plans-to-do“ for the near future, but I have to.
At first, let me share one thing – the Sofia Leo Club will start it’s main series of activities this autumn. So expect to hear something about us quite soon!
Well, that’s for now. The autumn season is open for activity. I’m back in the business.
