Save the seaside
In the wake (literally) of the recent floods on the seaside, the question with the building of luxurious and out-of-taste hotels, which is beyond any control whatsoever, is coming up and up. The Bulgarian seaside looks like shit thanks to the greedy attempts to ruin it with all kinds of tourist attractions. This includes building hotels and vacation villages in protected territories like Irakli, the mouth of the Ropotamo river, the Emine cape and many others.

I came across this appeal today, which aims on stopping this situation of lack of control on the building sites. I signed it and want to shout out STOP! STOP because in no more than a couple of years there will no longer be Bulgarian seaside. That’s simply not the way to establish Bulgaria as tourist destination! That’s the way to establish it as a junkyard!
