Uzundjovska
Downtown Sofia. I love that part of the city. I love all the little streets, all the different little places you can stop for a while and have a coffee or drink with friends. I love all that places that are in the open air, especially during this time of the year. I love… you got it I think already. This definite fancy of mine with downtown Sofia is very much valid after a long work day like today. Moreover, twice as valid when I have the chance to meet some of my best best friends and her at the same time.
Uzundjovska. This is the name of this post and this is also the name of one of those little streets out there, in downtown Sofia. And there, at the corner of Uzundjovska and Assen there’s the small pub that has a unique atmosphere. The reason why I’m writing about it, despite the zillion times that I’ve been there with various people, I’ve never written about it and I think it’s high time to do so. The pub at Uzundjovska is one of those places that you have go and see for yourself. Drinks and food at very normal prices (I really mean very very normal). Interesting people to meet there. Though that some think that it’s like a „narodna krachma“ (little explanation note here – no chalga shit there)- well, yeah – and that’s the charm of it.
Anyhow. That’s all I got to say about that place. I thought that I got to mention it and I did.
Otherwise – it was a splendid night out with friends.
