Damn those hard disks..

I just finished up reinstalling everything on my laptop. Why am I doing so? Well, my hard disk just went to a better place yesterday, together with quite a bit of info that was on it. For some unknown reason, atypically for me, I had backup of most of things (well not all of them, but most of).

Anyhow. This pain taking process of reinstalling everything, especially all the drivers for the many different peripheral devices, makes me crazy. The morals that are derived from all this are:

1) Backup! Backup! Backup your info! Always! Daily! Value your data!
2) When buying a laptop, HP might not be the best option. This is the third hardware I’ve had in the past 6 months.
3) If such thing happen to you – relax! Be calm. You can do nothing about it. Save your nerves and health condition!

Besides this thing with the laptop, there is hardly anything worth blogging about my humble person in the past few days. The intership programmes at the university piss me off a little bit with all the bureaucracy, procedures, and form I have to fill out.

Well now a little bit of more installation of „things“ on the laptop and I’ll be relaxing. Finally in the past two days ;)
