AmCham Ski Tournament 2005

It was a great day yesterday. The AmCham Ski Tournament 2005 did take place after all the difficulties going on with its organization. And not that it only took place, but actually quite a few people showed up. About 60 people were participating in the tournament and many more just came to watch the tournament.

The weather was ok, though that it always can be better. I myself took part in the competition. Competing with my very, very old ski, and racing against some ex proffessionals (who took the first places) I ranked after the second run – 19th. So far, so good. I’m happy with this result because I’ve never (despite that I’m skiing for almost 17 years) competed in a ski tournament. So 19 out of almost 60 – quite good for a first timer ;) Especially having in mind that fact that I moved a couple of places in the ranking from the first to the second run! So next year – should be better :)
